First-year

Undergraduate applicants can apply to either the Community College to obtain an associate degree or to the Flagship to obtain a bachelor’s degree. If you apply but do not qualify for admission to the Flagship, UDC will still admit you to the Community College if possible. If you apply to the Community College, you will only receive admission to the Community College.

Once admitted to the Community College, students in good academic standing and who have met minimal prerequisite requirements can easily transition to the Flagship.

Community College (Associates Program)

All students who have earned a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent are eligible for admission to the Community College.

Flagship (Bachelor Programs)

Applicants interested in admission to the Flagship must have earned a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent and meet the following minimum academic standards:

  • Earned a 2.5 high school GPA and an 890 SAT or 16 ACT Score

*Note: Effective Fall of 2020, the university is temporarily SAT/ACT test optional. All admissions and course placement standards are currently undergoing review.
