A first-year student has either not yet graduated from high school or has graduated but not earned any college credits after completing high school. The University of Dayton has two deadlines for submitting your admission materials: Early action (non-binding): November 1 and Regular decision: February 1. You will automatically be considered for merit scholarships — worth up to $31,000 per year for four years — when you apply for admission. A transfer student has completed high school and has earned college credit after finishing high school. Transfer application deadlines: Fall term: Early Action- February 1, Regular Decision- July1 Spring term: December 1 Summer term: April 15. All full-time transfer students receive a $16,000 transfer scholarship and may be eligible for an Academic Excellence Award, based on combined cumulative college GPA.
