The process to apply as a first-year student begins with an application. To complete your application, you'll need to submit your high school transcript (and college transcript if you have taken dual-credit), and SAT or ACT score (if you elect to submit them). As a test-optional institution for admission and scholarship, you may submit an essay or graded paper in place of a standardized test score. Letter(s) of recommendation are optional. Transylvania welcomes students who have previously or are currently enrolled in another college or university. The process to apply as a transfer student begins with submission of your application at www.transy.edu. Additionally, you will need to submit an official high school transcript, official college transcript(s), an admissions essay, ACT or SAT scores (optional), a letter of recommendation and a Statement of Good Standing from each institution.
