The Admission process at Randolph College is conducted as a comprehensive, holistic review in which each application is treated personally, with extraordinary care and attention to detail. We primarily consider the students who demonstrate ability and interest in achieving at the highest levels of scholarship; engaging with the community; and growing both intellectually and personally. The rigor of courses taken and the consistency over four years helps to evaluate each student. Recommendations, sample writing, standardized test scores, and resumes are not required, but are accepted.
For transfer students, Randolph College’s evaluation will focus primarily on your college/university grades and your high school/secondary school performance. The most competitive applicants have completed at least 12-24 credits of coursework by the time they enroll at Randolph. SAT or ACT scores are not required if you have completed at least one year of liberal arts course work at an accredited institution. A letter of recommendation may be submitted from your previous guidance counselor if you’ve been enrolled in a college/university for less than one year (preferred but not required).
