First-year

Kettering University attracts outstanding students with diverse academic interests, extracurricular pursuits, and backgrounds. Applicants tend to have strong academic records, particularly in math and science and are ready to challenge themselves academically. Freshman/First-year: is classified as any student who has not completed any college credit after graduating high school. Dual Enrolled, and Early College students are considered first-year applicants. Transfer: students who have completed high school and enrolled in college, even for one term or less, must apply as transfer applicants. Kettering University offers a free application with Early Action I & II and Rolling Admission plans.

Transfer

It doesn’t matter where you started college or how your journey has led you here. Kettering University is prepared to make your experience as seamless as possible. You’ll have a dedicated transfer counselor to guide you through every step. Kettering University attracts outstanding students with diverse academic interests, extracurricular pursuits, and backgrounds; primary consideration is given to the applicant's overall grade point average and the overall number of credit hours taken. Kettering University offers a free application with Early Action I &  II, and Rolling Admission plans.
