Assured admission to Kansas State University is test-optional and requires achieving either a cumulative high school GPA (weighted or unweighted) of 3.25 or higher, an ACT composite score of 21, or an SAT ERW+M score of 1060 or higher. If applicable, students should also have achieved a 2.0 GPA on all college credit taken in high school. If you do not meet these assured requirements, you are still encouraged to apply. Your application will be reviewed individually. Students must complete high school (or the equivalent) prior to beginning classes.
Kansas State University transfer applicants have typically completed two or more semesters of full-time study at another college or university (12 credits/semester). Students with 24 or more completed transfer hours must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on all transfer coursework to be admitted. Students with fewer than 24 completed transfer hours must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on all transfer coursework AND must also meet the freshman admission standards corresponding to your high school graduation year.
You can get an education anywhere, but K-State stands out because it's so much more than what goes on in the classroom. It's career preparation, internships, involvement — whatever you want and exactly what you need.
