First-year

First year (or “Freshman”) applicants to Hillsdale College are currently enrolled in high school, or are high school graduates who have never enrolled full-time as degree-seeking college students.

Required documents:

  • Application form
  • Essay and short answer responses
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Official high school transcripts (and college transcripts if dual-enrolled)
  • Official ACT/SAT/CLT scores (optional)
Strongly Recommended:
  • Admissions Interview
  • Resume of extracurricular activities, leadership, volunteerism, and work experience

Transfer

Transfer applicants to Hillsdale College have graduated from high school and are currently enrolled (or were once enrolled) full-time as degree-seeking college students.
