Your Path to becoming a Lion:

Standards for full admission to East Texas A&M are based on the required high school curriculum (Foundation Plan). Entering freshmen must have successfully completed the following courses in high school:

  • English Language Arts (4 credits)
  • Mathematics (3 credits)
  • Science (3 credits)
  • Social Studies (3 credits)
  • Language other than English (2 credits)

And any one of the following:

  • Rank in the top 30% of graduating class
  • Composite ACT score of 21 or better or
  • Minimum combined SAT of 1060 or better

Transfer

Your Path to becoming a Lion:

Standards for full admission to East Texas A&M are based on having earned 12 credit hours with a required cumulative GPA of 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale) on all transferrable college course work.

 

Applicants who apply to transfer to East Texas A&M and have attended a regionally accredited college or university after their high school graduating class (excluding the summer immediately following the graduation date of their high school class, regardless of the number of credit hours completed) with fewer than 12 transferable credit hours must qualify for admission based on policy for Freshman Admission.
