First-year

High school senior or graduated from high school but have not attended college (dual enrollment and summer following high school graduation are excluded).

To be considered for admissions a complete application file consists of:
Traditional Applicants

  • Paid the $50 non-refundable application fee*.
  • Uploaded copy of high school transcript(s).
  • Official ACT/SAT test scores sent from testing agency.
Test-optional Applicants
  • Paid the $50 non-refundable application fee*.
  • Uploaded copy of high school transcript(s).
  • Minimum 3.6 GPA
Important Dates & Deadlines

Summer/Fall

August 15, 2023: Application available
December 1, 2024: Early Action admission and scholarship consideration deadline.
January 10, 2025: Updated test scores received deadline 
February 1, 2025: Admission Application deadline
May 1, 2025: Enrollment Deposit deadline

Spring
July 1, 2024: Application for admission available
November 1, 2024: Admission Application deadline
December 1, 2024: Enrollment Deposit deadline

Transfer

Transfer (24 semester hours or more)
You are a student that has taken at least 24 hours of college work after graduating from high school at an institution and are transferring credits to Auburn University. 

  • Must have completed 24 or more semester hours at another college or university
  • Must have obtained a 2.5 cumulative GPA (2.8 for College of Architecture)
  • Must have completed two required core courses.

Freshman Transfer (Less than 24 semester hours)
You are a student that has taken some college level work after high school graduation, meet freshman admissions requirements and are interested in transferring to Auburn University. 
  • Must have completed at least one core course at another college or university
  • Must have obtained a 2.5 cumulative GPA (2.8 for College of Architecture)
  • Meets freshman admissions requirements for the current academic year.
